  All we've heard about for years was how wonderful The Country Squire is. Maybe those people had good experiences, but we did not.
  
  First, there is the terrible - and I stress TERRIBLE - service. It took over 30 minutes for my husband and me to get one beer and one glass of wine. They give you a relish tray; that took another 20 minutes. We still hadn't placed our orders by this point. My husband ordered pork chops, I ordered fried shrimp. The salads seemed to be made of lettuce from a bag, and the waitress (who was as disinterested as she could be) plopped the dressing on our salads. About 30 minutes after we ate the salads, a dry pork chop and a platter of fried shrimp showed up. The pork chop was resoundingly unimpressive. My husband said it was virtually tasteless. My shrimp tasted no different than what you'd get at Long John Silver's.
  
  We paid over $100 for this dinner. We will not make that mistake again.

  I attended the Country Squire with eight other people and while they enjoyed it, I thought it was disastrous. My prime rib was 80% fat and 20% meat, I maybe had six bites of the meat because it was so fatty. The atmosphere was not wonderful but not terrible. The service took close to two hours for not great food. The prices for this establishment are astronomical and while I know there are great dishes, for I received, $22.00 was not worth it. My cousin ordered the lobster tail stuffed with seafood and this dish was small but was $40.00. While he enjoyed it that was overpriced. Go to the Country Squire if you like low lighting, high prices and decent food.

  Went by yesterday and it was closed. For the Holiday. This place is a must visit destination. I stayed in the hotel ( witch was vintage but clean.). The Korean beef was out of this world. Service was good and very cool atmosphere.
